Week 4- Inspirational Word Art
Monday, April 13th- Friday, April 17th
Your Project Steps:
1. Make a list of as many inspirational words you can think of! Think of words that inspire positivity and make you feel happy!
2. Create 2-3 rough drafts. Try some different words. Experiment with different "fonts" (like bubble letters, block letters, cursive, etc). Experiment with letter size, and negative and positive space. Add patterns. Look at the two images below to help you with these. You will need to turn in your rough drafts.
3. When you are ready to start your final piece, assemble your supplies. You can use anything you have whether that's just a pencil or pen, or maker, colored pencil, paint, anything! Take your time and create some inspirational word art!
4. When you are done, email Mrs. Emami a photo of your final Inspirational word art! In your email please include your final word art, your 2-3 rough drafts, and answer these Artist Statement Questions:
-What word did you choose and why?
-How did you transform letters into art?
-If you were to change something about your word art, what would you do differently?
